Chelsea defender Baba Rahman has completed his move to German side Schalke 04.
The Ghana left-back will spend this season on loan at the Veltins-Arena having failed to impress since joining the Blues during last summer's transfer window.
He rejoins Markus Weinzierl who was in charge at Augsburg when the 22-year-old was at the WWK Arena.
He didn't feature in Chelsea's squad which were beaten by Real Madrid in Michigan last week as he was given permission to undergo medical with the Germans.
In April, interim manager Guus Hiddink was critical of the youngster as he explained that he should be "less nice" on the pitch.
"He has the skill but he must also be able to be dominant defensively," the Dutchman explained.
"He's working on that. He's a very nice person and I said to him: 'Be a nice person outside the pitch but be less nice on it.'
"With experience I hope he can make the next step, because he has the skill. He has to get the attitude of: 'This is my area and whoever comes in, I kill them.'"
Football Ghana published a photo on their Twitter account which appears to show the defender signing the contract with Schalke.
