Chelsea have made a new £38million bid for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to Sky Sport Italy.
The central defender continues to be one of Antonio Conte's main target during this summer's transfer window.
The Senegalese has also been linked with a move to Arsenal especially after it was confirmed that Per Mertesacker will be sidelined for months with a knee injury.
But agent Bruno Satin has again confirmed that negotiations are underway to finalise the transfer from Napoli to Chelsea.
"Chelsea still want him and there's time to close the deal," Satin said.
"We've decided to leave for economic reasons. After what happened to [Gonzalo] Higuain, though, Kalidou will not be leaving for Juventus or another competitor."
