Chelsea will sign striker Romelu Lukaku and will sell Diego Costa to Atletico Madrid before the end of the week, Tutto Mercato Web has revealed.
As reported at the start of the week, the Belgium international has told close friends that he has "unfinished business" at Stamford Bridge and is desperate to make a return.
He will take over from the Spaniard who is very close to making a return to Atletico Madrid.
Earlier this month, manager Antonio Conte was full of praise for the 27-year-old but it now seems he is ready to leave the club to join the Spanish giants.
"Diego Costa is our player, he is a Chelsea player," Conte told reporters.
"I spoke with him; he is a very important player. For me he is one of the best in the world. He can score a lot of goals for us.
"He needs to play for a club that is one of the best like Chelsea. Diego Costa is our player; he's a fantastic player with fundamental importance. He's very happy and is working hard.
"I am sure when he goes into our ideas he will score a lot of goals for us."
