Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants to sign five more players before the end of the summer transfer window, Mirror has revealed.
According to the report, the Italian met with Roman Abramovich, Marina Granovskaia and Michael Emenalo and made it clear that the Blues will not be competitive unless they make five more signings.
The meeting took place after last week's 2-0 defeat against Rapid Vienna.
Chelsea have been linked with striker Alvaro Morata and defender Kalidou Koulibaly in recent weeks but Conte was tight-lipped over claims that a new signing will be made next week.
"I prefer not to speak [about transfers]," Conte told reporters.
"We must take a player to adapt to our idea of football for our philosophy.
"It's not right to say the names because these players are in another team.
"I don't want another manager to speak of my players and I don't like to do the same."
