Agent confirms international star will leave club and wants to join Antonio Conte at Chelsea

By

Antonio Candreva's agent Federico Pastorello will soon meet with Chelsea to understand if manager Antonio Conte wants to sign his client.

The 29-year-old will leave Lazio during the summer transfer window.

Internazionale and Napoli are both interested in the Italy international but Pastorello wants the winger to play for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

"Candreva joined Lazio and had to accept insults from some of the fans," Pastorello told Tele Radio Stereo.

"But he won their hearts and now he understood that it's time for a new challenge.

"Fans should not be upset or angry, it's part of the game that brings players and clubs together to take certain decisions.

"His time at Lazio helped him to built a very strong relationship with the president, the directors, the coaches, his teammates and the fans.

"Where he will go? In order to experience something new as a player and as a person, he is ready to go abroad.

"The Premier League? It's the best of the best at the moment so my objective is for him to play for Chelsea. After all, all champions want to play in England."
