Chelsea will offer £35million to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, Italian TV channel Sportitalia has revealed.
The defender is also a target for Arsenal but the Blues are in pole position to secure his services.
The Senegalese is a main summer target for manager Antonio Conte after he enjoyed an impressive campaign with Napoli last season.
According to recent reports, the 25-year-old is tempted to make a move to Stamford Bridge.
The only problem between the player and Chelsea is Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis who is determined to keep the player at the club.
"I have never quarreled with Koulibaly. He will remain with us for another three years," he told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"If he wants to renew his contract with us to five years then we will meet but the deal must satisfy both parties, because these relationships are never one-sided."
