Belgium international Michy Batshuayi has been granted special permission to leave the Belgium squad for a medical with Chelsea, Mirror has revealed.
Last week, the 22-year-old has emerged as a target for Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window.
But it seems the Blues have made a winning bid to secure the services of the Olympique de Marseille striker.
According to reports, Chelsea will pay £33million for the youngster who will sign a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
West Ham United and Crystal Palace were also monitoring the progress of the Belgian and Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld has urged Spurs to sign his Belgium team-mate.
But he rejected all other offers and will become Antonio Conte's first signing as Chelsea manager.
