Chelsea has confirmed that striker Stipe Perica has left the club on a permanent basis to join Udinese.
The Italian club announced on June 16 that the youngster signed a contract to stay in the Serie A.
He signed for Chelsea three years ago but never managed to enjoy regular first team football at Stamford Bridge.
At Udine, the 20-year-old made 22 appearances in all competitions, scoring 3 goals and winning the praise of former Udinese man Franco Causio.
"I was impressed by the lad, I think we all were," Causio told Udinese Channel two months ago.
"He is a very good striker, the type of player you can rely on."
