Roma attacking midfielder Radja Nainggolan has confirmed that Chelsea have held talks with his club to sign him.
The future of the 28-year-old remains uncertain amid rumours that he will leave the Italian giants in the summer transfer window.
He wants to stay but the Giallorossi could sell if an important offer is made by the Blues.
"Chelsea were talking but at the moment there is nothing," the Belgium international confirmed.
"The Premier League is a big competition, it's lovely, but I think sometimes in life you need to make choices, and all I can say is that I am happy where I am.
"I said to him [Roma president James Pallotta] I love where I am playing so why not stay?"
The Belgian is currently in action in Euro 2016 and scored the winning goal with a superb 25-yard strike against Sweden on Wednesday.
