Chelsea have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci.
The Italian has been one of the most impressive defenders in Euro 2016 so far and has a market transfer value of £47million according to reports in England.
He was a key member of Conte's defensive department at Juventus, helping his side win the title for three years in a row.
At the start of the week, former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher wrote on Twitter that the 29-year-old, together with Giorgio Chiellini, must be on Conte's shopping list for the upcoming summer transfer window.
"Education for any defender tonight, proper defenders that Italian back three," Carragher wrote on Twitter.
"Bonucci & Chiellini have to be on Conte's CFC list!"
