Chelsea will make an improved offer to sign West Ham United attacking midfielder Dimitri Payet, Calciomercato.it has revealed.
The Blues have been told to forget about signing the Frenchman but they are not ready to give up just yet.
He was handed a new five-year, £125,000-a-week deal in February and is considered not for sale by his club.
Last week, agent Mark McKay confirmed that his future depends on what his club wants to do this summer with recent reports claiming that the Hammers will open negotiations with whoever will make a £60million offer.
"As far as I am concerned, he's been happy at West Ham and it's down to West Ham that he's in the position that he is in," McKay said.
"He's doing great now for France and to get him now, you've got to be talking ridiculous money.
"But football is football, so you never know."
Real Madrid are also rumoured to be interested in the 29-year-old.
