Italian Serie A club Udinese have confirmed that Stipe Perica has signed from Chelsea on a permanent basis.
The 20-year-old joined the Bianconeri during last winter's transfer window and was a key player as they battled to avoid relegation.
He never made his official debut for the Blues as he was loaned out immediately to Dutch club NAC Breda after joining the club.
"We announce that Croatian striker Stipe Perica has signed on a permanent basis," Udinese said in a statement.
Ex-Italy international Franco Causio was full of praise for the youngster in April after Udinese's 1-1 draw away at Genoa.
"I was impressed by the lad, I think we all were," Causio told Udinese Channel two months ago.
"He is a very good striker, the type of player you can rely on."
