Chelsea are closing in on a transfer deal for Porto attacking midfielder Yacine Brahimi, according to Metro.
His club are ready to open negotiations if a £23m offer is made for the 26-year-old.
The Algerian is also a target for Liverpool, Milan and Wolfsburg according to reports in Portugal.
In May, O Jogo revealed that Milan scouts were in Portugal to monitor the player who was already a target for the Rossoneri during last summer's transfer window.
The Reds are also determined to fight to secure his services having made an offer of £45million but it seems the Blues are now strong favourites to sign him.
