Chelsea striker Diego Costa wants to leave the club to make a return to Atletico Madrid, president Enrique Cerezo revealed.
The Spain international has arguably endured a frustrating campaign at Stamford Bridge this season and has been left out of Spain's squad for Euro 2016.
New manager Antonio Conte wants to keep the 27-year-old as Cerezo admitted that negotiations will be difficult this summer.
"We are there, he wants to come. But that is already complicated," Cerezo is quoted as saying by Metro.
"[Diego] Simeone wants new players and one of those is a striker.
"We desire a striker with goals, a good salary, and the ability to help us win many trophies."
