Chelsea striker to leave Stamford Bridge after Antonio Conte's green light to sell

By

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has decided not to offer striker Alexandre Pato a permanent deal at Stamford Bridge, Goal.com has revealed.

The Italian doesn't have enough data on the 26-year-old who failed to enjoy regular first team football at the club.

The Brazilian's desire is to stay in Europe but will return to Corinthians if no European club makes an approach.

"I want to stay in Europe," he told SporTV at the end of last month.

"My head is turned to Europe. I want to play there. But if not, I'll come back here [Brazil].

"I told my agent that at the moment I do not want to listen to anyone in Brazil.

"I do not regret [moving to Stamford Bridge]. Chelsea received me very well. I could play, scored a goal, I showed that I can play in Europe, in England. Because many say that England is very difficult. [But] I was hoping to play more."
