Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri says Chelsea are in "advanced talks" to reach an agreement with Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante.
The Frenchman was one of the most impressive players in the Premier League this season and is wanted by a number of top European clubs including Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
"Chelsea are in advanced talks with N'Golo Kante," Palmeri wrote on Twitter.
"After several meetings, the player has decided to postpone his decision after Euro2016."
At the start of the week, the 25-year-old confirmed that he will only take a decision after the Euro 2016 Championship.
"For now, I am happy at Leicester," Kante told L'Equipe.
"I do not pay too much attention to everything that is said.
"For now, I am in Leicester and I focus on the Euros."
