Chelsea striker Diego Costa could leave the club during the summer transfer window, former team mate Jorge Resurreccion Merodio has revealed.
The Spain international endured a disappointing campaign at Stamford Bridge as the Blues failed to qualify for next season's Champions League.
Reports in Italy claimed that Atletico Madrid would be happy to sign him back and Koke says he would welcome back the striker if he decides to move back to his former club.
"You never know what will happen in football," Koke told Bola.
"Diego [Costa] has a contract at Chelsea. All will depend on what happens in the management.
"I have not had time to see him in London.
"But he was happy at Atleti, he scored a lot of goals. It is important for a player to have good teamwork and Atleti has had incredible chemistry in the last few seasons – everyone was happy."
