Chelsea have been linked with a sensational move for Monaco teenager Anthony Martial, according to the Independent.
Technical director Michael Emenalo was sent to monitor the progress of the youngster in Monaco's 3-1 defeat against Valencia in the Champions League play-off round.
The 19-year-old is considered by many as one of the most promising talents in French football although it is unlikely that the Blues will offer £40m for such a young player.
Tottenham Hotspur were linked with the player at the start of the summer and according to reports they were only ready to offer £18m to secure his services.
