Chelsea and Augsburg are very close to reaching an agreement for the transfer of Baba Rahman to Stamford Bridge.
Agent Sascha Empacher has confirmed that an agreement will be finalised soon.
The 21-year-old is expected to take over from Filipe Luis who left the club to join Atletico Madrid.
"Both clubs are still working on fine-tuning but we hope the agreement will be finalised soon," Empacher told the Guardian.
The Ghanian defender will join Chelsea for a reported transfer fee of £17.5m.
