Chelsea are ready to hijack Newcastle's bid to sign striker Aleksandar Mitrovic according to the Daily Star.
A target for Roma and Porto, the 20-year-old will surely leave the Belgian side during the summer transfer window.
Last week, director of sport Herman Van Holsbeeck confirmed that Anderlecht were talking to a number of clubs over the possibility of a transfer.
"We are talking to different clubs," Van Holsbeeck told Calciomercato.it.
"Will his future be in Italy? I cannot name names, but we are very busy."
