Chelsea have met the buy-out fee for £22million Barcelona winger Pedro and expect to sign him next week, according to Metro.
The Spain international - also a target for Arsenal - admitted at the start of the week that his situation at Barcelona is a "difficult" one and that he will be probably leave during the summer transfer window.
"It's true that both parties decided to reduce my release clause, and it's true that there are offers," Pedro is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
"I'm in a difficult situation at Barcelona, but I don't want to jump the gun. I just want to start working with my team-mates again.
"I'm not thinking about the future.
"For now, I want to rest and be quiet before starting pre-season with my teammates on Wednesday. We'll then see what happens.
"I haven't spoken to [Jose] Mourinho, but I don't want to say anything else because it would be disrespectful to my club, Barcelona."
