Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic will play for Chelsea next season, Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has revealed.
The 28-year-old will take over from Petr Cech as Thibaut Courtois' backup at Stamford Bridge after the Czech international left the club to join rivals Arsenal.
"As far as I'm aware he's likely to travel to Chelsea and that will be concluded," Hughes is quoted as saying by Goal.com.
Meanwhile, new Stoke City signing Marco van Ginkel says he is looking forward to playing his first game at the club.
"I had a conversation with the manager and that was good," van Ginkel said.
"If you come to a club it's always important to speak to the manager to see what he's thinking about you and your place in the team.
"In the end I got a very good feeling to come to Stoke. It's good to meet all the boys today and I'm looking forward to my first week of training."
