Chelsea will announce the signing of Asmir Begovic this week or early next week, the Guardian has revealed.
The Stoke City goalkeeper will move to Stamford Bridge after Dutchman Marco van Ginkel moved to the Britannia Stadium on a season-long loan.
The Potters have already signed Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given as a clear indication that the Bosnian could indeed be on his way to Chelsea.
Izzy Brown and Nathan have also been sent out on loan.
The two youngsters will play for Vitesse Arnhem next season.
