Stoke City are ready to make the transfer of Chelsea striker Victor Moses a permanent one.
According to the Guardian, the Potters are ready to offer goalkeeper Asmir Begovic as part of the deal that would allow the Nigeria international to stay at the Britannia.
The Blues will be without a backup goalkeeper after Petr Cech concludes his move from Chelsea to Arsenal and Begovic is one of the many goalkeepers shortlisted to take over from the Czech international.
Stoke City boss Mark Hughes insists that his desire is to keep the goalkeeper at the club at least for one more season but he may be forced to accept the swap deal to keep Moses in his squad.
"Asmir is very much our player, which we are really pleased about. He is playing on Sunday and is somebody that we want to keep here, as I have said many times before," Hughes said last month.
"We will sit down with him, speak to him and his people and look for those talks to come to a positive conclusion."
