Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois wants to join Real Madrid because he fears he might never play for the Spanish giants if they sign David de Gea this summer.
According to the London Evening Standard, the 23-year-old is happy at Chelsea but could be tempted by a move back to the Spanish Liga.
He joined Chelsea from Genk in 2011 and spent three seasons on loan to Atletico Madrid.
A move away from Stamford Bridge appears to be unlikely at this stage especially after boss Jose Mourinho made it clear that he will not sell his best players this summer.
Also, the Belgium international confirmed that his desire is to stay at Chelsea when asked about a possible move to the Santiago Bernabeu last month.
"I am happy at Chelsea. I have four years on my contract," he said.
"I had great years at Atletico, I could dream thanks to that club, but in my career I always aimed to the top."
