Chelsea to announce two new signings at the start of next week

By

Chelsea will announce the signings of Monaco striker Radamel Falcao and West Ham United midfielder Alex Song next week, according to the Daily Star.

After weeks and weeks of rumours surrounding the former Manchester United striker, it now seems certain that he will be a Chelsea player next season.

The 29-year-old is determined to continue in the English Premier League with boss Jose Mourinho eager to replace Didier Drogba with an equally-lethal striker in front of goal.

Alex Song is also certain to be at Stamford Bridge next season.

The Cameroon international is the perfect replacement for John Obi Mikel who is expected to leave the club to join Valencia.

The 27-year-old has plenty of experience in the Premier League after spells at Arsenal and West Ham United and already said that he wants to continue in the Premier League.

The two confirm Jose Mourinho's plan to keep Chelsea's best players at the club and to inject a dose of healthy competition in his squad ahead of next season.
