Chelsea to face Liverpool and Juventus competition in race to sign Falcao

By

Liverpool are reportedly attempting an audacious attempt to sign Manchester United flop Radamel Falcao from under the noses of rivals Chelsea, Metro reports.

Despite his below-par campaign at Manchester United where he only scored four goals, the Colombian is one of the most wanted players on the market.

Juventus, Chelsea and Liverpool are all ready to make a move for the striker with Milan no longer interested after shortlisting Jackson Martinez and Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the main targets to strengthen the offensive department.

Chelsea continue to lead the race for the 29-year-old, especially after Jose Mourinho's remarks on Thursday.

"If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it," he is quoted as saying by Metro.

"It hurts me that people in England think that the real Falcao is the one we saw at Manchester United."
