Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel set for Newcastle United loan spell

By

Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel could be loaned out to Newcastle United according to reports in Italy.

The Dutchman was loaned out to Milan last season with the Rossoneri eager to keep the player for the upcoming campaign as well.

But boss Jose Mourinho would prefer to loan out the player to an English Premier League club so as to gain enough experience in the domestic league.

Last month, former Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi said: "Unfortunately he is not our player.

"But he has grown a lot.

"He has played seven or eight games in a row and we are starting to see a great player. He does really well in training.

"Chelsea have great midfielders and he is in need of playing.

"My will would be if possible to keep him because he can give us a big hand."
