Real Madrid are ready to make a shock £73m offer to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Wednesday morning.
The Belgium international signed a new five-year contract last year with the Blues after displacing Petr Cech as Jose Mourinho's first-choice goalkeeper.
But he is rumoured to be one of Rafa Benitez's targets ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old joined Chelsea from Genk in 2011 and spent three seasons on loan to Atletico Madrid.
Last week, boss Jose Mourinho made it clear that he will not sell the key players of his squad but he may be tempted if the Spanish giants are serious with their £73m offer.
