New Real Madrid coach Rafa Benitez is set to make a shock move for Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Diego Costa, Express Sport reports.
The Spaniard was a big disappointment at Napoli this season after failing to qualify for next season's Champions League but is determined to build a very strong team at Madrid.
Hazard, who scored 20 goals for Chelsea, was named player of the season and the Football Writers' Association player of the year after a superb campaign at Stamford Bridge.
And the Spaniard, who joined from Atletico Madrid last season, wasted no time at all to settle down at his new club, scoring 20 goals in all competitions.
Clearly, it is unlikely that boss Jose Mourinho will allow the two players to leave, especially after he made it clear that his objective ahead of next season is to keep his best players at Stamford Bridge.
"We like the players, we are happy with the players," Mourinho said last month.
"Two or three are always coming to the club, that’s normal. The players I am looking for are my players, the players I want to keep. Last season I had players I wanted to sell.
"The most important thing in the market is not to lose players. How can I find a better striker than Diego Costa? A better midfielder than Matic? A better right-back than Ivanovic?"
