Hull City want at least £30m to sell Arsenal and Chelsea target

By

Hull City boss Steve Bruce says Arsenal and Chelsea target Andy Robertson is worth at least £30m.

The defender is a target for both Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho according to reports in England but the 54-year-old says The Tigers will only sell the player if a very important offer is received by the club.

"Luke Shaw went from Southampton to Manchester United after just one season in the top flight for £30m, and I rate Andy on a par with him as a young player with bags of ability and potential," Bruce is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.

"We have already had calls from clubs asking to be kept informed about his situation, and it might become inevitable that he goes.

"I've heard people talking about it taking £12m to buy him.

"That would just about buy his right leg - and the boy is left-footed!

"Andy wants to do well, keep on improving, and be a top player.

"He's got all that drive in him and he is already one of the best young players in the country, that's for sure."
