Chelsea and Manchester United's battle for 30-year-old Joao Miranda continues.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has identified the Brazilian as a target for this summer's transfer window.
But the Red Devils are not ready to give up the chase.
Asked about the possibility of joining Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford, the player said to be flattered about the link.
"Of course this news reaches me, and it makes me happy. It shows I am doing well," he told Estadao last month.
"It makes me proud, but my intention is to stay at Atletico because I still have a year and a half on my contract."
