Juventus are leading the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira, according to reports from Italy.
Chief executive Giuseppe Marotta opted not to comment about the possibility of bringing the 28-year-old to Turin during an interview on Sunday but the Bianconeri are determined to make an important offer for the Germany international.
Chelsea, Arsenal, Schalke 04 and Wolfsburg are also interested but after winning the Italian Serie A, Italian Cup and reaching the final of the Champions League, Juventus have suddenly become an important club for many ambitious players.
Italian newspaper "La Stampa" believes that the midfielder is expected to reach an agreement with the Serie A champions before the Berlin final against Barcelona, making him Juventus' second signing of the summer after Palermo's Paulo Dybala.
He is expected to sign a four-year contract.
