Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to offer Chelsea's Petr Cech an escape route from his Stamford Bridge nightmare.
The 32-year-old lost his regular place after the arrival of Thibaut Courtois and wants to leave the Blues as he believes he can still be an asset to another top club in Europe.
But, manager Jose Mourinho is determined to have two top goalkeepers ahead of a long season in the English Premier League and Champions League.
The Portuguese explained that his door is open to discuss Cech's future but insisted that his intention is to keep the goalkeeper.
"I hope Petr doesn’t ask to go," Mourinho was quoted as saying by The Telegraph last week.
"If that situation comes, obviously this club and myself, he deserves us sitting with him and listening to him.
"But I repeat this moment hasn’t arrived."
The Czech was again on the bench during yesterday's big win at Goodison Park with Chelsea getting all three points despite conceding three goals against Everton.
